Eku Inn in Nuremberg

I went to eat there with my in-laws today, I was very pleasantly surprised. The steak was exactly as I ordered it. The prices are more than justified. Will definitely come again.

The food is really good. However, the service could be a little more attentive. As an individual, however, you have to put up with a seat at the "bar". You feel like you are unwanted. Clearly a table with 6P. occupied brings more sales, but they are better left empty.

I like to come here for something to eat. It tastes simple, the wait staff are very friendly and the prices are okay. There is also a nice garden for the summer where you can sit outside. I can definitely recommend it.

Very attentive service, very friendly and efficient. The meat very tasty. We recommend. I didn't think about it myself and so the salad was with yogurt dressing. A note on the map would have been good here. I'm going back, the meat is so tender and flavorful, I want to try some more.

Great steak, every time! I recommend the grilled ribeye... >400g of course ;-) They also have good fish dishes

Food tastes good, but the restaurant is showing its age. The serving of the food is also very careless. Employees should be more motivated. A tall, young man with dark hair is very nice and motivated.

The old woman or boss of the shop should rather take care of the dirty OUTDOOR TOILETS than make outrageous announcements about a handbag on the floor. Not to mention the patio umbrellas with mildew stains. At the price level I can expect that I will be served in a friendly and courteous manner. And if I complain that the steakhouse salad has too few ingredients and almost zero sauce, you get what you order is a no go.

Excellent shop and for me the best steak place in Nuremberg. The prices are not cheap, but it is definitely worth a visit for special occasions! (For food and wine, you can count on around € 50 p.p.)

Eat well but the unfriendly boss doesn't work at all. And outside sit under moldy umbrellas. The toilets outside are dirty full of cobwebs and the urinal is leaking. A no-go in the price range.

Best steak in town ! Great service and food

Just old and worn out. Steaks good, pepper sauce warmed up in the micro and peppercorns directly from the can with the can water the sauce. French fries were not fully fried and super soft.

Why 3 stars? Brief explanation of today's visit. 05.09.2020 The elderly lady (Owner / managing director) You urgently need to learn from the way you talk to customers! The steak and the service were really good, but for the way you are, I really feel sorry for the staff. We won't come again and you can guess three times why ...

I was greeted in a very unfriendly and discriminatory way because I cannot wear a mask for medical reasons (with a doctor's certificate), but I was also served by another lady who was much more tolerant of people with health problems and handicapped people! I give 2 stars more because the food was divine! Simply delicious ?

Excellent service, open communication, both with the table and head waiter and with the chef. Children are also perceived as full guests and treated accordingly. We don't need to discuss meat quality and method of preparation, excellent. The seasoning mixture used is good, and if desired, it can of course be replaced by pepper and salt, but you should bear this in mind on your first visit that this option is available. From farm steak to top rump steak to fillet, we had tested the pieces of beef that were relevant in my opinion, excellent and each served exactly with the desired degree of cooking. We'd love to come back as soon as we're back in NBG.

Approx. Once a year we treated ourselves to the EKU Inn on special occasions. The quality of the meat was very good as always, but the service has deteriorated a lot: The waitress only wore the mask over his mouth; the mask was not over his nose, despite the currently strong Corona numbers in Nuremberg. The receptionists only wore the mask now and then. Of the four dishes ordered (twice medium and twice medium-rare) only one was properly cooked. The second medium steak was still almost raw in the thicker middle, the second medium-rare was still extremely bloody. "You can't do anything anymore, that's the way it is, you don't always get it right away." Hm. I expect from a steakhouse that hardly does anything else in terms of dishes, actually different. The corn tasted very raw and green, more like grass than corn (we didn't complain about that), the beans were hard. The potatoes and garlic bread, on the other hand, were very good. But with such a small menu and the high prices, one also expects beans, corn and steaks to be properly prepared. The garden is nice and windproof, the wasps are a bit annoying, but the restaurant can't do anything about that. Nevertheless, we were very disappointed, the price-performance ratio is unfortunately no longer right despite the high quality of the meat, we won't be coming any more soon.

I ordered a steak medium. The first one came through that I let go back. The new 2nd steak was almost completely raw. Everything went well with the 3rd steak and it tasted good too. So compensation there was a coffee on the house. Next time I will choose a different steak house.

Great food! The steaks were amazing. I would say the only down side is that it is right in a very crowded area where parking can be an issue...but the food is worth the walk you may have to make!

Sadly I could not take a picture, due to instant urge to rather eat the steak instead of holding the phone in hands :) perfect quality of the meat, combined with perfect doneness equals great experience yet again. 300g filet steak + mixed side salad & large coke at 38 euros is fair price too. Will come again.

This place is a hidden gem! Very thankfully I didn’t reject coming here because of the plate decor! Ok indeed they don’t put food very fancily like other restaurants do to attract you to go for Instagram game. But this place cooks their steaks perfectly. My fillet mignon was soooooo juicy and tender that I want to order one more! Don’t miss out this place if you fancy some nice steak dinner! By the way, they are super affordable.

Outdoor and indoor seating available, decoration is ok. Casual dress code, good for romantic dates as well as larger groups. Service is quick and friendly. The menu is small and focuses on steaks (of course) with a variety of side dishes and salads. My steak was of great quality and well grilled, highly recommended.

Nice steak house. Waitress was very polite and knowledgeable of the menu. The Shrimp wrapped in bacon on a stick (cant recall the name), but it was amazing!
